Ichinose Ryokan Association
The storybook “Memories of Water and Forests: Stories Living On in Ichinose, Shiga Kogen” has been released.
This storybook brings together the stories and history of the region, along with insights gained through the roundtable discussion and the thoughts and feelings people hold for the local area.
We hope that Ichinose’s unique relationship with nature, as well as the history and culture that local people have continued to preserve, will lead to new discoveries and memorable experiences for all who visit.
Together with local stakeholders, we will continue our efforts to create a positive cycle of conservation and sustainable use within the national park.
