According to road information from the Shiga Kogen Tourism Association, a section of Prefectural Route 502, the Okushiga Koen Sakae Line, is fully closed on weekdays from June 22 to July 17, 2026, due to bridge construction work. The road is open on Saturdays and Sundays.
The affected sections are from the Okushiga Kogen Gate to the Rindo Akiyama Line Intersection Gate, and from the Rindo Akiyama Line Intersection Gate toward Kayanotaira. Meanwhile, the section from the Kayanotaira Junction toward Nozawa Onsen remains open to traffic.
